Arjun is now India no.1 and World no.11 in the live ratings. Anish Giri (NED) scored a fantastic win over Vladislav Artemiev. When the opportunity arose to sacrifice his bishop to expose his opponent's kingside, Anish did it. This win moved him up a place in the live ratings to World no.4. Arjun faces Xiangzhi Bu (CHN) in the second round. Round 2 starts today at 2 p.m. local time, 11:30 a.m. IST. Photos: Organizer/Liang Ziming
